ABOUT ME

Roger Haus

Illustrator, AI artist, art director

Roger Haus is a visionary artist who has been delivering the wow factor in his work for over a decade. Known for his surreal creations filled with personal symbols, animals, cyborgs, and fantastic creatures, he uses street art, illustration, acrylics, and cutting-edge technology to bring powerful imagery to life. His art has been exhibited in 10 countries and collected worldwide, with major venues like Times Square and the Seattle Art Museum celebrating his work. Roger has been fascinated by surrealism for as long as he can remember. He started using AI technology in 2015 and founded the Exquisite Workers collective in 2020.

Trained at La Llotja Art and Crafts Academy in Barcelona, one of Spain's oldest and most prestigious art institutions, where renowned artists like Picasso and Miró honed their craft, Roger Haus later continued his training at IDEP Academy, known for its strong emphasis on technological integration. Meanwhile, passionate about manga, street art, and photography, he filled the streets with graffiti and his notebooks with daily illustrations. In 2015, Roger expressed an interest in the use of generative networks for his drawings and paintings, making him one of the early pioneers. Today, Roger is recognized as one of the most consistent and passionate voices in the contemporary art scene.

A surrealist at heart, Roger embraces automatism and the hypnagogic state for the spontaneous expression of his imagination. His impressive and extravagant figurative and abstract works often feature animals and mysterious creatures with surreal twists and a unique sense of humour. His art has been exhibited in the USA, Canada, France, Spain, Switzerland, Japan, and South Korea, making big waves on social media. One of his recent AI works went viral on Twitter (X) with over 50 million views ("Girl with a Black Cat").

Roger has collaborated with prominent institutions, including Universal Music, the Picasso Museum, CaixaForum, and the Joan Miró Foundation. His work has been highlighted in Times Square, NYC, by WeTransfer and recently by Apple Vision Pro. A patron of creators, he is also known for organizing the world's largest curated collaboration of a digital "exquisite corpse" with the Exquisite Workers collective, which he founded in 2020. Roger Haus currently lives between Barcelona and Paris, working full-time in his studios.
